 
An International tool manufacturing company was spending
approximately £50,000 p.a maintaining the bearings
of 70 grinding machines. The failure rate, labour, component
reclamation and scrap rate content was, obviously, unacceptably
high.

Solution...
At a total of £5,040 (£72.00 per grinder),
we redesigned the assembly utilising a different bearing
type. The result was dramatic!
The customer reports greatly reduced down-time, reclamation
and bearing failure. Their figures report an estimated
annual saving in the region of... £250,000!!!
